界面按钮

• 底部圆形大按钮（换一只）：随机换一只小狗 + 场景。按 空格 效果相同。
• 工具按钮：展开时间、天气、番茄钟、语言、声音、任务便签、下载与作品信息；地球图标用于切换中文与英文。
• 时间与天气：各自可选择始终显示、始终隐藏或不活动时隐藏。全屏天气会按实时天气播放笔触动效；雷电只会偶尔短暂闪现。
• 番茄钟：以清晰的小组件显示，可设置 1–8 个番茄、1–60 分钟专注与 1–30 分钟休息。
• 声音：提示音可独立开关，并能与天气环境音或随机专注音乐并存。两种背景音互斥；天气音仅在全屏天气生效，10 首轻柔专注音乐可在所有场景随机播放并平滑换曲。
• 任务便签（电脑端）：最多保存 100 项任务，可完成、恢复、作废、永久清理或快速最小化。未完成任务永久保留，完成项保留一周，作废项保留三天。
• 问号：先查看作品与功能概览，可前往 BeBee.fun、向作者反馈，或继续完整功能引导。
• 搜索与书签：支持百度、Google 与 Bing；书签名称、网址与自动匹配的网站图标保存在本机。
• 下载：使用下载按钮保存当前画面；输入文字时不会误触发下载。

隐藏技巧

• 纯净壁纸模式：鼠标静止 10 秒后，所有按钮和标注自动隐藏，只留壁纸。动一下鼠标就会回来。
• 和小狗互动：移动鼠标，小狗会盯着你看、吐舌头、摇尾巴。
• 点击小狗可以摸摸它。
• 时钟、天气、番茄钟、声音、搜索引擎、书签、任务便签和语言偏好都保存在浏览器本地。

常见问题

安装后 Chrome 书签栏不见了？
浏览器书签没有被删除。自定义新标签页可能遵循 Chrome 隐藏书签栏的设置。请在 Chrome 菜单中选择“书签和清单”→“显示书签栏”，或按 Windows/Linux 的 Ctrl+Shift+B、Mac 的 ⌘+Shift+B。插件无法自动开启这个浏览器设置。

天气一直不显示？
打开天气菜单并选择天气小组件或全屏天气。若定位被拒绝，会自动显示深圳天气；网络暂时失败时会保留模式并稍后重试。

如何重看引导或反馈？
展开工具栏并点击问号。在作品信息框中选择“查看功能引导”或“联系作者反馈”；反馈会安全发送给 BeBee Studio，不会公开展示。

新标签页没有变成小狗壁纸？
同一时间只能有一个扩展接管新标签页。如果你装了多个新标签页扩展，请在 chrome://extensions 中暂时停用其他同类扩展。

如何停用或卸载？
在地址栏输入 chrome://extensions，找到「随机潦草桌面」，可以随时关闭或移除。所有本地设置会随卸载彻底清除。

它会收集我的数据吗？
无需注册、无广告、无行为分析。天气仅在启用时使用大致坐标，所有偏好与书签保存在本机。只有主动发送反馈时，填写的昵称与内容才会提交给 BeBee Studio。详见隐私权政策。

数据与第三方资源

• 画面与动画：40 个场景、小狗造型和动效均为 BeBee Studio 编写的原创纯代码生成内容，不包含临摹或打包的第三方插画。
• 天气与地点数据：界面会按实际结果标注 QWeather、OpenWeather 或 Open-Meteo；使用 Open-Meteo 数据时按 CC BY 4.0 署名，其免费接口仅适用于非商业用途。通过 OpenStreetMap 解析地点时也会显示相应署名。
• 声音：天气环境音与 10 首专注音乐来自 Mixkit，按相应的 Free License 使用；曲名、作者、编号与下载日期记录在项目的音频许可清单中。
• 图标：任务便签使用 Lucide 图标，按 ISC/MIT 许可使用；许可文本随项目保留。网站书签图标只在用户添加书签时从图标服务读取对应域名的 favicon。
• 字体：时钟、温度与数字使用 Baloo 2，按 SIL Open Font License 1.1 使用。字体文件与许可文本均随网页和插件保存，运行时不会访问 Google Fonts；中文使用设备自带的优质系统字体。

Buttons

• Big round button (bottom): shuffle a new puppy + scene. Space does the same.
• Tools: opens clock, weather, Pomodoro, language, sound, task notes, download, and project information. The globe switches between Chinese and English.
• Clock & weather: each can be always visible, always hidden, or hidden while idle. Full-screen weather responds to live conditions, with only brief, occasional lightning.
• Pomodoro: uses a crisp compact widget with 1–8 rounds, 1–60 focus minutes, and 1–30 break minutes.
• Sound: chimes have an independent toggle and can coexist with either weather ambience or randomized focus music. The two background modes are mutually exclusive; weather ambience works only in full-screen weather, while 10 gentle focus tracks can play anywhere with smooth transitions.
• Task notes (desktop): keep up to 100 tasks, complete or restore them, discard or permanently clear them, and collapse the panel into a summary bar. Open tasks persist; completed tasks remain for one week and discarded tasks for three days.
• Question mark: opens a concise project overview with links to BeBee.fun, private author feedback, and the full guided tour.
• Search & bookmarks: choose Baidu, Google, or Bing. Bookmark names, URLs, and automatically matched site icons stay on your device.
• Download: saves the current scene from a dedicated button; typing never triggers a download.

Hidden tricks

• Clean wallpaper mode: after 10 idle seconds, all buttons fade away. Move the mouse to bring them back.
• Pet the pup by tapping it.
• Clock, weather, Pomodoro, sound, search engine, bookmarks, task notes, and language preferences are saved locally.

FAQ

Chrome bookmarks bar missing?
Your browser bookmarks have not been removed. A custom new tab can follow Chrome’s hidden bookmarks-bar setting. In Chrome’s menu, choose Bookmarks and lists → Show bookmarks bar, or press Ctrl+Shift+B on Windows/Linux and ⌘+Shift+B on Mac. The extension cannot turn this browser setting on automatically.

Weather never shows up?
Open the weather menu and choose the widget or full-screen weather. If location is denied, Shenzhen is used; temporary network failures preserve your selection and retry later.

Replay the tour or send feedback?
Open Tools, choose the question-mark button, then select the guided tour or author feedback. Feedback is delivered privately to BeBee Studio and is not published.

New tab didn't change?
Only one extension can override the new tab page at a time. Disable other new-tab extensions at chrome://extensions.

Disable or uninstall?
Go to chrome://extensions, find Scruffy Pup, and toggle it off or remove it. All local settings are wiped on uninstall.

Does it collect my data?
No account, ads, or behavioral analytics. Weather uses coarse location only while requesting conditions; settings and bookmarks stay on your device. A nickname and message are sent to BeBee Studio only when you actively submit feedback. See our privacy policy.

Data & third-party resources

• Visuals and motion: all 40 scenes, pups, and animations are original, code-generated work by BeBee Studio. No third-party illustration is traced or bundled.
• Weather and place data: the interface credits QWeather, OpenWeather, or Open-Meteo according to the actual result. Open-Meteo data is credited under CC BY 4.0 and its free endpoint is for non-commercial use only. OpenStreetMap is also credited when used to resolve a place name.
• Audio: weather ambience and 10 focus tracks come from Mixkit under the applicable Free Licenses. Track titles, creators, item IDs, and download dates are recorded in the bundled audio notice.
• Icons: task-note controls use Lucide icons under ISC/MIT terms, with the license notice retained. Bookmark favicons are requested for the selected domain only when a bookmark is added.
• Typography: clocks, temperatures, and numerals use Baloo 2 under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. The font and license are bundled with both the website and extension, so no Google Fonts request is made at runtime; Chinese text uses the device's native system font stack.
